Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven SME Market Energy Broker to join our dynamic sales team. The Energy Broker will be responsible for responding to inbound leads, processing these leads through our CRM system, compiling tailored sales proposals, and communicating with prospects via email and telephone to close deals. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage and convert leads into sales. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Sales Funnel Management
    • Respond promptly to inbound leads through various channels (phone, email, website, etc.). 
    • Input and update lead information accurately in the CRM system. 
    • Qualify leads to determine their needs and potential as customers. 
  • Deliver Sales Proposals
    • Compile and customize sales proposals based on the specific needs and requirements of each prospect. 
    • Ensure all proposals are accurate, comprehensive, and professionally presented. 
    • Utilize market knowledge and company resources to create compelling proposals. 
  • Communication and Follow-Up
    • Send sales proposals to prospects via email. 
    • Follow-up on sent proposals through email and telephone to address any questions and move the prospect through the sales funnel.
    • Build and maintain relationships with prospects to increase the likelihood of closing deals.
  • Deal Closure
    • Negotiate terms and close sales deals with prospects. 
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics. 
    • Document all interactions and transactions in the CRM system. 
  • Customer Support
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all prospects and clients. 
    • Address any post-sale queries or issues to maintain customer satisfaction. 
  • Reporting and Feedback 
    • Generate regular reports on lead status, sales activities, and performance metrics. 
    • Provide feedback to the sales manager on lead quality and market trends. 


  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. 
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the energy sector or B2B markets. 
    • Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and sales processes. 
  • Skills
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
    • Ability to understand and convey energy market information and solutions.
